Promenades

Marina di Loano has two long and stunning promenades, departing from the Western pedestrian entrance to the marina, only 300m from the town’s historical walls, and moving into opposite directions. The Seafront Promenade (Passeggiata di Mare) lies above the breakwater wall and stretches for 800m on the sea to reach the far end of the Outer Pier, 5m above sea level. Below the Promenade an underground structure offers pleasure boaters 140 parking spaces and bathroom facilities. This promenade is one of the longest and most spectacular pedestrian routes, leading through green areas down to the characteristic sundial at the outer sea end. The Shore Promenade is a prolongation of the existing Loano’s seafront promenade leading to the eastern town edge. It offers stunning views of the entire marina basin, with its buildings and mooring boats. The two promenades offer access to the marina not just to pleasure boaters and nautical tourism lovers, but to all the visitors of this stretch of the Ligurian coast.
