A journey through history
Saturday the 8th of May the surface car park at the port will welcome the cars participating in the XII Historical Re-enactment of the Milan-San Remo Cup, the most charming and historical Italian vintage car race that will be held this year from the 6th to the 8th of May. On Saturday the 8th of May, the highlight of the event, the teams will take part in the grand finale: after departing from Rapallo they will parade through piazza De Ferrari in the centre of Genova and arrive in Marina di Loano. While guests of the event will be on the terraces of the Marina Center, the congress centre at the port, their “wheels” will be on display in the large car external park in the port to allow those that want to admire them to get a closer look. A unique occasion to learn all about these authentic works of art on wheels that have written racing and engineering history. The arrival of the convoy of the Historical Re-enactment of the Milan-San Remo Cup will coincide with the presentation of the new Marina di Loano logo, the result of intense restyling and the prelude to a wider renovation plan that will affect the entire Loano port area in the near future. A “party within a party” that will mark the beginning of a new chapter of the history of one of the most beautiful tourist ports in the world.
